The Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) course is one of the mandatory STCW safety training modules required for all seafarers. It is designed to prepare crew members for life at sea, focusing on safety awareness, effective communication, teamwork, and emergency preparedness.

This course follows the STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) Code – A-VI/1-4 guidelines.

Without this certification, seafarers are not allowed to work onboard commercial vessels.
